Abstract:	V diplomskem delu smo preučevali vlogo nabavnega in skladiščnega procesa v podjetju Talum d. d. Zaradi vse bolj zapletenega procesa na področjih, kot so logistika, učinkovito upravljanje zalog ter hiter prenos materiala, postajata nabava in skladiščenje pomembna dejavnika uspešnih podjetij. Nabavni proces zaznamuje eno izmed pomembnih poslovnih funkcij, saj omogoča, da podjetje pravočasno dobi ustrezen material, skladiščni proces pa omogoča ustrezno shranjevanje, evidentiranje in izdajo blaga. V diplomskem delu smo se osredotočali na to, kako potekata nabavni in skladiščni proces v podjetju Talum d. d. ter s katerimi težavami se srečujejo zaposleni. Z analizo nabavnega in skladiščnega procesa ter izvedene ankete med zaposlenimi smo prišli do spoznanja, da sta procesa dobro organizirana, vendar pa zaposleni kljub temu menijo, da bi bilo mogoče izboljšati nekatera področja, predvsem v zvezi s komuniciranjem med oddelki ter z upravljanjem zalog. Na podlagi izvedene ankete med zaposlenimi smo tudi ugotovili, da zaposleni zaradi dolgoletnih izkušenj dobro poznajo procese ter podajajo več predlogov za izboljšanje učinkovitosti dela.

Title:	Analysis of the purchasing and warehousing process at Talum d.d.
Abstract:	In our thesis, we studied the role of the purchasing and warehousing process in the company Talum d. d. Due to the increasingly complex processes in areas such as logistics, efficient inventory management and rapid material transfer, purchasing and warehousing are becoming important factors in successful companies. The purchasing process marks one of the most important business functions, as it allows the company to obtain the appropriate material on time, while the warehousing process enables the proper storage, recording and issuance of goods. In our thesis, we focused on how the purchasing and warehousing process is carried out in the company Talum d. d. and what problems employees encounter. By analyzing the purchasing and warehousing process and conducting a survey among employees, we came to the conclusion that the processes are well organized, but employees still believe that some areas could be improved, especially in relation to communication between departments and inventory management. Based on the survey among employees, we also found that employees have a good knowledge of the processes due to their many years of experience and make several suggestions for improving work efficiency.
