Abstract:Mednarodne dobavne verige so zaradi globalne povezanosti, odvisnosti od tujih dobaviteljev, logističnih poti, finančnih razmer ter geopolitičnega in institucionalnega okolja izpostavljene številnim tveganjem. Diplomsko delo ravno zato, obravnava vrednotenje tveganj v mednarodnih dobavnih verigah s pomočjo kvalitativnega večkriterijskega modela DEXi. V model so vključene štiri glavne skupine tveganj: operativna, dobaviteljska, finančna ter geopolitična-institucionalna tveganja. Posamezni kazalniki so pretvorjeni v opisne razrede tveganja, kar omogoča njihovo združevanje v skupno oceno tveganja dobavnega okolja.

Title:Development of a multi-criteria model for risk assessment in international supply chains
Abstract:International supply chains are exposed to numerous risks due to global interdependence, reliance on foreign suppliers, logistics routes, financial conditions, and the geopolitical and institutional environment. Since these risks often occur simultaneously and are interconnected, they cannot be adequately assessed by a single indicator or by analysing individual factors separately. The diploma thesis deals with risk assessment in international supply chains using the qualitative multi-criteria model DEXi. The model includes four main groups of risks: operational risks, supplier-related risks, financial risks, and geopolitical and institutional risks. Individual indicators are transformed into qualitative risk categories, which enables their aggregation into an overall risk assessment of the supply chain environment. The results of the scenario evaluation show that the model meaningfully distinguishes between different types of supply chain environments. The stable supply environment was assessed as the least risky scenario, whereas supplier dependency and the geopolitical-financial shock were assessed as the most risky scenarios. The analysis also showed that the model maintains a logical direction of decision making for the selected tested criteria and a stable ranking of scenarios after a moderate change in the aggregation rules. The developed model therefore represents a transparent approach for a more comprehensive assessment of risks in international supply chains.
