V okviru raziskave so analizirani primeri podjetij Darex, Cascina Italia S.p.A., Napco Brands, Comprehensive Logistics in AIM Processing.

Title:Production process redesign using collaborative robots
Abstract:Modern companies are increasingly facing labour shortages, growing productivity demands and rapid technological development. As a result, they are increasingly redesigning production processes through the implementation of collaborative robots. Although numerous practical examples of their application exist, there is still a lack of comparative analyses identifying the production processes in which their implementation provides the greatest benefits. This bachelor's thesis examines the redesign of production processes using collaborative robots and compares their application in assembly, packaging, palletizing, quality inspection, and machine tending and material handling. The research analyses case studies of Darex, Cascina Italia S.p.A., Napco Brands, Comprehensive Logistics and AIM Processing. The comparison focuses on the impact of collaborative robots on productivity, product quality, employees, production flexibility, implementation approach and return on investment. The findings indicate that collaborative robots have a positive impact on the efficiency of production processes in all analysed cases. They contribute to increased productivity, improved product quality, reduced physical workload for employees and greater production flexibility. The analysis also shows that collaborative robots do not replace employees but rather take over repetitive and physically demanding tasks, allowing employees to focus on more complex activities with higher added value. The successful implementation of collaborative robots depends on selecting an appropriate production process, careful implementation planning and active employee involvement. The findings provide useful guidance for companies planning to redesign production processes through the implementation of collaborative robots.
