Abstract:Vrednote družinskih podjetij oblikujejo njihovo identiteto, kulturo in dolgoročno usmerjenost, saj nanje v veliki meri vplivajo osebna prepričanja lastnikov in drugih družinskih članov, vključenih v razvoj in poslovanje.

Title:A study of values in the family business dg, d. o. o.
Abstract:The values of family businesses shape their identity, culture and long-term orientation, as they are largely influenced by the personal beliefs of owners and other family members involved in the business development and operation. This thesis examines values on the example of a smaller Slovenian family business, DG, d. o. o., operating in the construction sector. The theoretical part presents the characteristics of family businesses, the role of family members, factors of development and success, and the origin and influence of values on the culture, ethics and leadership of a company. The interests of the company and the MER model of integral management are also defined as a starting point for examining the values of a family business. In the practical part, the values of DG, d. o. o. are presented on the basis of conversations with family members and employees, as well as a survey for profiling values according to Ulrich. The results show that the company places a high value on the quality of work performed, expansion into foreign markets and innovation, while at the same time showing a relatively conservative attitude towards risk and a desire to maintain ownership and control within the family. Based on the findings, recommendations for practice are formulated mainly regarding succession and strategic planning, of the company under investigation.
