Abstract:	Podjetja se v sodobnem poslovnem okolju vse pogosteje odločajo za uvedbo celovitih informacijskih ERP, saj te omogočajo povezovanje poslovnih procesov, učinkovitejše upravljanje podatkov in boljšo preglednost poslovanja. ERP rešitve povezujejo različna poslovna področja, kot so finance, nabava, prodaja, skladiščenje in proizvodnja, pri čemer vsi uporabniki dostopajo do enotne baze podatkov. Kljub številnim prednostim pa uvedba ERP rešitve predstavlja zahteven projekt, ki poleg tehnoloških sprememb vključuje tudi organizacijske in procesne prilagoditve, zato imajo pri uspešnosti implementacije pomembno vlogo kritični dejavniki uspeha (v nadaljevanju KDU). V magistrski nalogi smo se osredotočili na kritične dejavnike uspeha pri uvedbi ERP rešitve Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central v podjetju X. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili ERP rešitve, njihove značilnosti, razvojne trende in proces uvajanja ERP rešitev. Posebno pozornost smo namenili kritičnim dejavnikom uspeha, kot so podpora vodstva, organizacija projektnega tima, upravljanje sprememb, prenova poslovnih procesov, vključevanje uporabnikov in kakovost komunikacije znotraj projekta. Predstavili smo tudi rešitev Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, njene funkcionalnosti, module in metodologijo SureStep. Empirični del magistrske naloge temelji na kvalitativni študiji primera uvedbe rešitve Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central v podjetju X. Raziskava temelji na analizi projektne dokumentacije in izvedbi polstrukturiranih intervjujev s ključnimi deležniki projekta. Ugotovili smo, da imajo podpora najvišjega vodstva, kompetentnost projektne ekipe, učinkovito upravljanje sprememb in ustrezna prenova poslovnih procesov pomemben vpliv na uspešnost uvedbe ERP rešitve. Prav tako smo ugotovili, da so KDU med seboj tesno povezani in skupaj pomembno vplivajo na potek in uspešnost implementacije ERP rešitve.

Title:	Critical success factors in the implementation of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP solution: a case study of implementation in company X
Abstract:	In today’s business environment, companies are increasingly adopting enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, as these systems facilitate the integration of business processes, more efficient data management, and greater operational transparency. ERP systems integrate various business functions, such as finance, procurement, sales, warehousing, and production, while providing all users with access to a single, unified database. Despite their numerous benefits, implementing an ERP system is a complex undertaking that involves not only technological changes but also organizational and process-related adjustments. Critical success factors therefore play an important role in ensuring a successful ERP implementation. This master’s thesis examines the critical success factors involved in implementing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system at Company X. The theoretical part discusses ERP systems, their characteristics, development trends, and the ERP implementation process. Particular attention is paid to critical success factors such as top management support, project team organization, change management, business process reengineering, user involvement, and effective communication within the project. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solution, its functionalities and modules, and the Sure Step methodology are also presented. The empirical part of the thesis is based on a qualitative case study of the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central at Company X. The research draws on an analysis of project documentation and semi-structured interviews with key project stakeholders. The findings indicate that top management support, project team competence, effective change management, and appropriate business process reengineering have a significant impact on the success of an ERP implementation. The study also found that critical success factors are closely interconnected and collectively have a significant influence on both the implementation process and its outcome.
