Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava uporabo robotike pri manipulaciji z različnimi vrstami embalaže.

Title:Analysis of the impact of beverage packaging type on the efficiency of two-finger robotic grasping
Abstract:This thesis examines the use of robotics for handling various types of packaging. The aim of the research was to determine how the movement speed of a robotic manipulator affects gripping success and potential packaging damage when the gripping force remains constant. The theoretical section introduces packaging materials and their properties, as well as the significance of robotic automation in modern logistics and manufacturing processes; it also describes the basic characteristics of robots and robotic grippers. The experimental phase utilized a Universal Robots UR10e robotic manipulator equipped with a Robotiq 2F-85 two-finger mechanical gripper. Tests were conducted involving the gripping of four different types of packaging at three distinct robot movement speeds, while maintaining a constant gripping force. Throughout each test, parameters such as gripping success, transfer stability, and any resulting packaging damage were monitored. Based on the obtained results, a comparative analysis was performed to assess the impact of movement speed on the effectiveness of robotic packaging handling. The findings contribute to a better understanding of industrial robotics applications in automated packaging handling and provide a foundation for future research in this field.
