Abstract:
Na Slovenskem, skladno s svetovnim trendom, postajajo digitalne tehnologije sestavni del izobraževanja na vseh področjih in stopnjah, tudi na področju poučevanja tujih jezikov v terciarnem izobraževanju. Za slednjega je značilno nenehno iskanje ravnovesja med priložnostmi in omejitvami spletnega izobraževanja. Za vpogled v pojmovanje in razumevanje spletnega izobraževanja ter njegove zastopanosti v slovenskem šolstvu raziskovalni podatki članka »Vloga digitalnih učnih tehnologij v tujejezikovnem izobraževanju na terciarni ravni: raziskovalni trendi in prakse« zajemajo ključne izsledke relevantnih doktorskih nalog in znanstvenih monografij ter rezultate spletne anonimne ankete posredovane visokošolskim učiteljem tujih jezikov na Slovenskem (n = 69).

Title:
Online Language Education in Slovenian Higher Education: Research Trends and Current Practices
Abstract:
Following the international trend, digital technologies have been increasingly integrated into all areas and levels of education in Slovenia. One such area is foreign language education at the tertiary level, in which teachers are constantly balancing the potential and limitations of online education. To provide insight into how online education is conceptualised and utilised in Slovenian education, the research data of the article The role of educational technologies in tertiary language education: Research trends and current practices includes findings of relevant doctoral dissertations and scientific monographs, as well as the results of an anonymous online questionnaire administered to Slovenian higher-education foreign language teachers (n = 69).
