Abstract:V diplomskem delu Merjenje časa v vrtcu sem raziskovala, pri katerih dejavnostih otroci merijo čas in kako ga ob dejavnosti doživljajo. V delu sem zajela nastajanje koledarjev, zgodovino merjenja časa Egipčanov, Babiloncev in Majev.

Title:MEASUREMENTS OF TIME IN KINDERGARTEN
Abstract:The diploma work Measuring Time in Kindergarten researches those activities where children measure time and how they perceive time during these activities. This work encompasses the formation of calendars, the history of measuring time by Egyptians, Babylonians, and Mayas. I have also presented our Gregorian calendar. The calendars of the enumerated nations are very different from one another, both in the number of months and in the number of days in one month. The main part of the work focuses on the planning of the activities where children measure and experience the time. I have made three full-day preparations, which are appropriate for studying the time. I have also written down a few games connected with the time, in which children can engage upon every-day occasions. While working on this diploma, I have discovered that we can plan numerous different activities connected to the measuring time in kindergartens. When planning we can also seek assistance in the Curriculum for kindergartens, mostly in the section on nature.
Keywords:calendars, kindergarten, curriculum, activities connected to the time, play.
