Visoko izobraženi anketiranci so dosegali boljše položaje hierarhičnih lestvic v podjetjih in imeli višje število podrejenih. Zadnji del diplomske naloge je namenjen zapisom teh ugotovitev, kritični analizi in predlogom za izboljšave.

Title:THE IMPACT OF TRAINING ON INDIVIDUAL CAREER-BUILDING
Abstract:The diploma thesis entitled The impact of training on an individual career-building focuses on examination of the assertions that the number of years of employment is dependent on formal education, that the retirement age depends on social class and standing of an individual and that the retirement age depends on the level of education. The first part of the diploma thesis deals with the theoretical part of the main elements like education systems in general and in Slovenia in particular, career, organisation of training in companies and similar. In the second, the empirical part, we presented the research conducted and the questions contained in the survey performed, based on which the analysis was done by means of testing the hypotheses for their correlation. We have established that there exists correlation between the number of years of service and the level of education, and that the retirement age and the level of education are somehow correlated, but to a very low degree. We have also tested the assertion that the retirement age and the social class and standing are correlated, and we overruled it. We have proven by means of the survey, that higher level of education of the participants had an impact on their career development and on their reaching a higher social standing. The high educated participants were able to reach higher positions in company hierarchy and headed a bigger number of staff. In the last part of the diploma thesis, conclusions, critical analysis and suggestions for improvement are presented.
