Abstract:Diplomska naloga obravnava numerično simulacijo termodinamičnih razmer pod pokrovom motorja letala kateri je še v fazi prototipa.

Title:COOLING OF AIRPLANE MOTOR USING COMPUTATIONAL FLUID DYNAMICS
Abstract:The article deals with numerical simulation of the thermo hydraulic conditions in the airplane motor hub in the prototype phase. The solution domain involves complete motor hub including internal combustion motor, complete exhaust gas system, oil and water cooler. Comparison of various air intakes – outtake positions is performed in order to assure optimal cooling as well the position of coolers. Result shows that the current geometry provides enough cooling air and the maximum temperature should be below the allowed one.
