Abstract: Večina zaposlenih žensk in mater se sooča s problemom, kako učinkovito uskladiti družinsko in poklicno življenje. Skozi diplomsko nalogo smo analizirali probleme v zvezi z usklajevanja poklicnega in osebnega življenja slovenskih mater. Skušali poiskati rešitve in predloge, ki bi prispevali k boljši uskladitvi materinstva in poklicnega življenja.

In the assignment the position of women, especially mothers who are faced with problem of combining work and family obligations, is introduced. In the first part birth-rate in Slovenia, pregnancy and safety at work with pregnant women is introduced. A thorough overlook of laws and legal basis in the Republic of Slovenia was made.
