Abstract:Živimo v času tehnološke revolucije.

Title:Multimedia teaching of history lessons
Abstract:We are living in a time of technological revolution. Technological innovations and achievements in the field of communications, information and computer technology, have turned the World into a "global village". The penetration of technology into a daily life of every individual has not only changed the society as an entity, but also the way of how we see and define our civilization. Since the emergence of computer and related informatics technologies, change is also noticed in education. Modern classrooms without computers, interactive whiteboards, or at least slide projectors and TV are inconceivable. It can be argued that the traditional notebooks and textbooks will be replaced by PCs and laptops. Today's generations of children are growing up in flood of multimedia content and finding data from books is not interesting anymore. Traditional teaching is not contributing desirable and good learning outcomes and successes, because the educational content, for these generations, is dull, tiresome and uninteresting. For noted fact we can say, the trend indicates, this gap in the classical teaching will be fullfild by the multimedia technology of modern time. Multi-purpose flexibility of multimedia technology in education does not mean only faster and better achievement of school objectives in curriculum but also rise of "modern" student’s interests, needs and skills. Multimedia methods of teaching can be expressed as an empirical experience of history. Therefore, we place the multimedia teaching in the school of the future.
