V teoretičnem delu so predstavljene gibalne kompetence otroka, telesni in gibalni razvoj, gibalne sposobnosti otrok, gibalna znanja v predšolskem obdobju, gibalno izkušenjsko okolje in kompetence vzgojitelja v vrtcu.

Title:Influence of motor abilities on the acquisition of motor skills with 5 and 6 year old children
Abstract:The thesis called Influence of motor abilities on the acquisition of motor skills with 5 and 6 year old children consists of theoretical and empirical section. In the theoretical section, the child's motor skills, physical and motor development, motor abilities of children, motor skills in preschool age, physical environment and educator's skills in kindergarten are introduced. The empirical section presents the results obtained by means of a pedagogical experiment in which children in the experimental group participated in the implementation of additional exercise / sports activities with an emphasis on developing motor skills; children in the control group did not participate in these activities. Results indicate that during the teaching experiment the children in the experimental group advanced more in the field of motor abilities and motor skills than children in the control group; professionally managed and planned exercise / sport activities which focus on developing motor skills have a positive impact on the acquisition of motor skills, as children in the experimental group achieved better results than the children in the control group who had no additional exercise / sports activities. The results also show that properly developed motor abilities in children aged 5-6 years have a positive effect on their acquisition of motor skills.
