Title:THE USEFULNESS OF THE MUSICAL KNOWLEDGE AND DIDACTIC METHODS, ACQUIRED BY SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS DURING THEIR PLACEMENT IN NURSERY SCHOOL GROUPS
Abstract:Children are musically active from their first year of age on and thus have to be introduced to different musical activities. By doing this we influence both the development of their musical dispositions and the development of their musical abilities, skills and knowledge. Undoubtedly, music is one of the vital activities, which has an important influence on the development of aesthetic taste in children. In the diploma paper titled The Usage of Musical Contents and Didactical Processes, Acquired During Secondary School Training, in Kindergartens, we wanted to research to what extent the knowledge, acquired during secondary school vocational courses, is used in kindergartens. With the help of a questionnaire we have discovered that kindergarten teachers prefer to choose certain contents on a daily basis, which means they can do them well, while they include certain other contents much more rarely, since these require more preparation. One of the reasons for such behaviour can also be found in the professional unpreparedness of teachers. The purpose of the diploma paper is also to discover teachers' weak domains. On the basis of the answers, we can confirm that insufficient knowledge influences teachers' choice and that teachers prefer choosing those contents with which they are more familiar.
Keywords:Pre-school education, pre-school musical education, musical education of teachers, musical activities in kindergarten.
