V diplomskem delu smo želeli poiskati povezavo med psihološko stresno obremenjenostjo, ocenjeno z izpolnjenim Godwinovim vprašalnikom in fiziološko stresno obremenjenostjo, ocenjeno z analizo spremenljivosti srčne frekvence. Metodologija raziskovanja: Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela. Ugotovili smo pomembno razpršenost posameznih parametrov analize variacije srčne frekvence, kar označuje različno stopnjo simpatikotonične in vagotonične aktivacije. Hkrati pa smo ugotovili statistično pomembno povezanost med starostjo (r=0,326; p=0,011), ter tremi parametri analize variacije srčne frekvence (SDNN (r= -0,371; p= 0,004); pNN50 (r= -0,337; p= 0,008); in T power (R= -0,380; p= 0,002) ter stresno obremenjenostjo opredeljeno z vprašalnikom. Sklep: Analiza variacije srčne frekvence ponuja možnosti opredeljevanja stresne obremenitve saj lahko z njo ocenimo stresno obremenjenost, vendar bi bilo v prihodnosti potrebno opredeliti natančen kvantitativni model.

Title:Detection and evaluation of stress
Abstract:Theoretical starting points: Nowadays the word stress is used very often as we live in a fast developing world demanding a permanent adaptation from us. Stress can be defined as a psychological, physiological and behavioural answer of a person, an individual trying to adapt to his or her inside and outside stimulation. My thesis is aimed at finding the connection between the psychological stress burdens estimated on the basis of the Godwin questionnaire and the physiological stress burdens estimated on the basis of the heart rate variability analysis. Methods: A descriptive method has been used and the research based on the quantitative methodology. Furthermore, data were collected with the help of the Godwin questionnaire and after that the questions were compared with the heart rate variability analysis. (the 24-hour Holter monitoring). 60 people being treated in the Spa Zreče Internal cardiovascular clinic wearing a 24-hour Holter monitor took part. The data received were statistically processed with the help of the SPSS 19.0. Results: Regarding the data received we came to the conclusion that the heart rate variability analysis marks huge interindividual differences when estimating the activity of participants’ autonomic nervous system. We ascertained the important dispersion of individual parameters of the heart rate variability analysis which indicates the different stage of simpaticotonic and vagotonic activation. At the same time we found out the statistically important connection between the age (r=0,326; p=0,011), and three parameters of the SDNN heart rate variability analysis (r= -0,371; p= 0,004); pNN50 (r= -0,337; p= 0,008); and T power (R= -0,380; p= 0,002) as well as the stress burden defined with the questionnaire. Conclusion: The heart rate variability analysis offers possibilities of the stress burden determination as the stress burden can be estimated, however; a precise quantitative model should be determined in the future.
