Abstract:Zagotavljanje varnosti civilnega zračnega prometa je kompleksna naloga, ki zahteva usklajeno delo različnih varnostnih subjektov. Za učinkovito delo članov letalske posadke so poleg tehničnih znanj in letalskih veščin vse pomembnejša znanja s področja upravljanja s človeškimi viri.

Title:HUMAN FACTOR AND CREW RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN CIVIL AVIATION
Abstract:Ensuring the safety of civil aviation is a complex task that requires coordinated efforts of various security services. Despite statistically proven facts that the air transport is the fastest and safest way of transport, the essential source of knowledge on the safety experience are mistakes that caused the plane crash. Discipline on the Human Factor is concerned with understanding the interactions between humans and other elements within the aviation system to optimize functioning of the individual and system. For the flight crew members to be more efficient it is increasingly important to have, in addition to technical knowledge and aeronautical skills, knowledge in the field of Human Resource Management. Emphasis is placed on the use of knowledge and experience of all available resources, thereby increasing quality and quantity of possible solutions and consequently flight safety. Due to human error as the cause, which leads to anaviation accident, Crew Resource Management (CRM) has special emphasis in flight crew training. In the aviation industry, especially the most successful airline companies, they are implementing the integrated management system SMS. The system is based on a »just culture« that promotes safety and the fact that people are susceptible to errors. Swiss-cheese model, HFACS, TEM, SHELL and 5M represent systematic approach of investigating the involvement of human factors and reveal errors in the system, which may contribute to future developments.
