Title:INTERNATIONAL TRADE OF TURKEY, CHINA AND POLAND WITH EUROPEAN UNION
Abstract:Today, the majority of the world economies are in the most difficult situation after the major crisis in the nineteen thirties. The EU has certainly found themselves in the most difficult situation since its existance. Given this fact, there is a question which remains: how to proceed? Will the EU remain in this form as it is today or will it have to transform? The EU as the world's largest importer has the influence on the whole world. Economies, whose prosperity was based on strong exports to the EU market, are now facing major challenges. All of three countries I have analyzed, export most of their products and services in the large EU market. Consequently, Poland is in the most difficult situation, because of its 80% export to the EU market, then Turkey with around 50% and finally China by around 18% export to the EU market.. In the last ten years, all of three countries have gone through major transformations. Turkey is becoming more and more important economic factor in the Europe and in the Middle East. China is becoming a superpower in all areas. The structure of its economy is significantly changing and also the conditions on which it is built through years of high economic growth, are slowly disappearing. It will be interesting to see what will happen in the future. Poland, which came from socialist block, is becoming more and more successful in the economic field. So far, it has successfully resisted the economic crisis. Furthermore, its GDP has not shrunked even in 2009, when the economic crisis in the EU came to be most prominent. All of three countries may, to some extent, thank for the success to international trade. Moreover, all of them are very interesting and specific and because of their diversity, they can offer a lot to the world. It is impossible to predict how the things will evolve in the future, how well will the individual countries take advantage of their opportunities and how well will they be able to minimize their weaknesses.
