Abstract:Državnozborske volitve se odvijajo vsake štiri leta.

Title:THE POLITICAL ADVERTISING TEXTS OF THE LAST PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION
Abstract:Parliamentary elections are held every four years. In the pre-election period, both political parties and their candidates try to convince as many voters and win the most votes, so they resort to different persuasive strategies. The thesis presents the political advertising on early parliamentary elections in 2011. The basis for the analysis are propaganda texts compiled during the election. The idea is to compare the persuasive strategies between two political parties, namely the Slovenian Democratic Party and the newly created Ballot of Zoran Janković, Positive Slovenia. As part of the thesis a short online survey has been made among a target population or potential voters, in which we collected the opinions of random people about the meaning and impact of political advertising. The first section presents the theoretical framework of electoral propaganda, political advertising and its genres. The central part consists of an analysis of selected texts that were used to convince the electorate, namely the pre-election talks between the two presidents of political parties, television and radio advertising, posters and leaflets, and consequently, slogans, and logos used in this pre-election period. The third and final part of the thesis provides an analysis of the survey findings and a conclusion.
