Abstract:POVZETEK V sodobnih pogojih delovanja se morajo banke prilagajati nenehnim spremembam v okolju, če želijo zagotavljati svoj obstoj in dolgoročni razvoj.

Title:THE ROLE OF MANAGERS WHEN INTRODUCING CHANGES IN THE BANK
Abstract:ABSTRACT In modern conditions of work, the banks have to adjust to continues changes in the environment, if they want to insure its existence and long-term development. Managers have to adjust their work and behaviour to new circumstances and change themselves from leaders to motivators for their employees. The master’s work discusses the role of the managers when introducing changes in the chosen bank. The results of the changes are importantly depending on participation and cooperation of all employees by the implementation, especially managers. At the same time, employees and managers do not recognize the importance and the role of changes to improve the business of the bank, and do not include themselves in the performance of the change sufficiently. Such a stage opens the question, how understanding of change between managers and employees is influenced by various – often contradictory factors as being afraid of changes, unsuitable information, bad information or something else. For this reason the research is orientated towards the meaning and role of introducing changes, the role of communication of the bank’s managers for the management of change and the role of management communication when introducing changes.
Keywords:organizational changes, change management, culture of management, formal communication, informal communication, introduction of changes, communication of management.
