Title:MOBBING AGAINST STUDENTS, WHO WORKS THROUGH STUDENT SERVICE
Abstract:Nowadays there almost isn't a student who wouldn't work through the student service, whether it is working to survive, to cover the costs of studying or just to treat oneself to something more. Because a large number of students work in companies, this paper focuses on researching the phenomenon of mobbing them. The introduction of the diploma includes the presentation of the problem, purpose and goals of the diploma, assumptions and limitations in writing and research methodology. In the theoretical part, we explained what mobbing is, what the causes, types, forms and consequences of mobbing are, and we also touched the chapters about communication and conflict, because regulated communication between individuals rarely leads to conflict, which can lead to mobbing. In the research part of the diploma we performed a survey between students who work through the student service. We wanted to find out whether the students are victims of mobbing, if they talk about possible mobbing to their bosses and if the female students sense more mobbing than male students. We also wanted to know what the difference in exposure to mobbing between students of third year and graduates, and between students who work in the private and public sectors is. We surveyed online, through the site www.1ka.si and we analysed the results by using the statistical program SPSS 20. In research we found out that students on average are not victims of mobbing and that they do not talk about it to their bosses. It has also been shown that female students sense the same amount of mobbing as male students, and that in average there is also no difference in exposure to mobbing between students who are studying the third year in college or the graduates. We also found out that there are no differences in average between students who work in public sector and students who work through student service in the private sector.
