Abstract:V diplomski nalogi smo obravnavali razvoj in kondicijsko vadbo otrok, starih od 8 do 10 let.

Title:PRINCIPLES OF TRAINING INCLUDING THE ANNUAL PLAN OF PHYSICAL EXERCISE IN ALPINE SKIING FOR CHILDREN FROM 8 TO 10 YEARS OF AGE
Abstract:The diploma thesis discusses the development and physical workout of children aged from 8 to 10 years. Through the presentation of aspects and development areas of children of a selected age, we have highlighted the type of exercise and its complexity, which must be taken into account by the coach when preparing suitable exercises for children, and which must be different from the exercise preparation for adults, as the training objectives are different. For the target group, the trainings are intended primarily for the overall development of children, i.e. the biological, cognitive, social and emotional development, and not to achieve muscle mass as with training for adults. If during the preparation of training any aspect of child development is not taken into account by the coach, or the training is not adjusted to it, children will not be able to develop to their greatest potential and will be exposed to a greater risk of injury. Improper, monotonous and uninteresting training can result in a decline in motivation, and dissatisfaction, which may lead to children dropping out of training. In the thesis, we have also designed and presented a model of a physical workout for children who train in Alpine skiing, in which we emphasized the importance of diversity, creativity and the proper preparation of trainings which should be held in a natural environment as often as possible. We have highlighted all the relevant criteria for the preparation of high-quality training, and the importance of interesting and proper training which motivates children to continue their sports activities.
