Abstract:Eno najpomembnejših področij vsakega športnega procesa predstavlja samo načrtovanje športne vadbe. Največja razlika teh dveh pristopov se kaže v razvijanju motoričnih sposobnosti, kjer vzhodni model uporablja bolj vzporedni princip, medtem, ko zahodni model zaporednega.

Title:SPORT DOES NOT KNOW OTHERNESS - PLANNING THE TRAINING OF PARAPLEGICS IN ATHLETE THROWING
Abstract:Planning of training is one of the most important fields of every sports process. The organization of training with the goal of peak performance of the athlete can be compared to an art that is intertwined with experiments and errors that we meet in different time periods of the training process. For the training process itself to take the right direction, we need to integrate the basic scientific principles. The main objective of this thesis was to study different approaches to planning the training of paraplegics in athletics throws. The objectives that I have set were focused on presentation of training planning and periodization of the athletes, presentation of theoretical standpoints in order to plan the training according to the system of east-European countries and according to the west model, comparison of both approaches presented and evaluation of their advantages and weaknesses. I used various international and domestic sources. The information that I have obtained through discussions with specialists from this field was of great assistance to me. Each of the approaches has certain characteristics. The biggest difference between the two approaches is shown in the development of motor skills, as the eastern model tends to use the parallel principle while the western model prefers the subsequent principle. The most important difference between approaches is in the length of preparatory periods. If they are too long, as they typically are in the subsequent principle, it is difficult to follow the schedule of the matches throughout the season. Therefore the systems of the parallel principle are at advantage, as all the skills are developed at the same time and the results we obtain are of better quality.
