Abstract:Komunikacija in odnosi so pomemben dejavnik v zdravstveni negi. Metoda: Udeleženci so zaposleni v enoti Osnovnega zdravstva Gorenjske in sistematično razdeljeni v skupine.

Title:COMMUNICATION SKILLS COACHING: COMPARISON BETWEEN EQUINE ASSISTED COACHING AND GROUP IN CLASS TRAINING
Abstract:Communication and interpersonal relations are an important factor in health care. Since we cannot divide one from another, we have considered both of them. Concrete communication skills trainings for health care professionals have been addressed in order to quantitatively and qualitatively enlighten the effect on participants. We have deepened the analysis as much as possible, and we have examined the difference between equine assisted training and in class training. Method: Participants: they are employees of Osnovno zdravstvo Gorenjske who were systematically divided into four groups. The average age of participants is 45,8 years and they are mostly female. Instruments: Pogačnik's scales on work motivation were used for quantitative measurement. Reports of mediators' experience were used for qualitative analysis. Procedure: Trainings were carried out for two groups in class and two groups with horses. Pogačnik's scales were applied with participants before training, on the first day of training, a week and three months after training. When analysing work satisfaction, Friedman's nonparametric test was used. Participants’ abilities were analysed only descriptively. For reports of mediators’ experiences we used qualitative content analysis. Results: of quantitative analysis are not significant statistically. Differences in the approach showeed in qualitative analysis. Equine assisted training showed greater effect on interpersonal relations in contrary to class training, which showed greater effect on intrapersonal aspects.
