Abstract:V magistrskem delu smo predstavili rezultate raziskave o organizacijski klimi, izvedeni v perioperativni zdravstveni negi Univerzitetnega kliničnega centra Maribor in Univerzitetnega kliničnega centra Ljubljana. Teoretični del predstavi perioperativno zdravstveno nego in organizacijsko klimo, njene lastnosti, dimenzije, načine spreminjanja, zgodovino raziskovanja, povezave s komunikacijo, motivacijo in nagrajevanjem zaposlenih ter vodenjem.

Abstract:This thesis presented the results of organisational climate research, conducted in perioperative nursing care of University Medical Centre Maribor and University Medical Centre Ljubljana. The theoretical part introduced perioperative nursing care and organisational climate, including its features, dimensions, methods of modification, research history, relation with communication, motivation, employees rewarding and management. The research showed that organisational climate influences on well-being and efficiency of the employees. Low information flow, poor communication and overburdened employees are the cause of stress and conflicts and affect the employees' attitude towards work and patients. Even though the relations between the employees and the management are good, there are several factors which could improve the level of organizational culture. The main research findings are: there is a lack of staff, work organisation is poor, the method of informing the staff is insufficient and the employees are not motivated enough by the educational and promotion opportunities as well as the salary level. The results obtained were analyzed and the proposal of optimal factors model to improve the organizational climate was developed.
