Abstract:V diplomski nalogi smo želeli ugotoviti, kateri načini za spodbujanje pozitivne samopodobe so najpogostejši in najučinkovitejši v predšolskem obdobju.

Title:ENCOURAGING POSITIVE SELF - IMAGE OF PRESCHOOL CHILDREN
Abstract:In the paper we also wanted to discover what means of encouraging positive self-image are the most common and the most efficient in the pre-school period. The descriptive and comparative method of studying was used when preparing the diploma paper as well as analysis of primary sources. Within the diploma paper we confirmed all previously set hypotheses and discovered that with majority of preschool children positive self-image prevails; that most of preschool children are directed towards body image; that means of encouraging positive self-image with girls differs from those with boys; and that preschool teachers have an important role in the development of the children’s self-image.
