Abstract:
Pričujoče diplomsko delo predstavlja teorijo igre predšolskega otroka ter vrste otroške igre. Podrobneje smo opredelili simbolno igro, preko katere smo prišli do gledališča in simbolne igre v njem, kot prvih zametkov gledališča. Opredelili smo pomen in pojem prostora ter časa v predšolskem obdobju ter improvizacijo kot uvod v gledališke dejavnosti.

Drama Games for Preschool Children
Abstract:
The present thesis first elaborates on the theory behind preschool play and different types of child play. The author presents symbolic play in more detail, focusing especially on theatrical symbolic play as the first instance of theatre. In the second part of the thesis, the meaning and notion of time and space in preschool age are defined, followed by the presentation of improvisation as an introduction into drama activities.
