Abstract:	V teoretičnem delu smo se osredotočili na obravnavo družine in šole ter njihovega medsebojnega sodelovanja. Posebno pozornost smo namenili opredelitvi družine in kompetencam, ki jih otroci skozi vzgojo pridobijo. Zanimalo nas je, kakšno vlogo opravlja družina ter kakšni tipi družine obstajajo. Pozornost je bila usmerjena tudi na kompetentnega otroka in starša. V nadaljevanju smo opredelili kompetence šole in učiteljev, saj so pomembni vidik vzgoje otrok tudi učitelji. Opredelili smo tudi sodelovanje šole s starši. Predstavili smo učiteljevo in vzgojiteljevo vlogo. Posebno pozornost pa smo namenili kompetentnosti učiteljev in vzgojiteljev s starši otrok, ki pridejo v šolo. V empiričnem delu so prikazani rezultati raziskave na temo ocena staršev in učiteljev oz. vzgojiteljev v 1. razredu OŠ o kompetentnosti za starševsko vlogo. Zanimalo nas je, ali so višje izobraženi starši sebe ocenili kot kompetentnejše pri vzgoji otrok, kot nižje izobraženi starši, ali so zaposleni starši sebe ocenili kot kompetentnejše v primerjavi z nezaposlenimi starši, ali se matere čutijo kompetentnejše za starševsko vlogo kot očetje, ali bo ocena o kompetentnosti staršev za starševsko vlogo višja pri prvorojencu kot pri drugorojencu in naprej in ali sta vzgojiteljeva ocena in samoocena staršev za starševsko vlogo podobni. Za raziskavo smo uporabili anketni vprašalnik. Podatke katere smo dobili s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika smo obdelali z računalniškim programom SPSS(Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) in jih tudi tabelarično prikazali.

Title:	THE EVALUATION OF THE PARENTS AND THE TEACHERS OR THE PRESCHOOL TEACHERS IN THE FIRST CLASS OF PRIMARY SHOOL OF THE COMPETENCE FOR THE PARENTAL ROLE
Abstract:	In the theoretical part of this diploma work we have focused on examining family and school and their mutual cooperation. A special attention was given to the definition of family and to the competences that children gain through education or upbringing. We have been interested in the role fulfilled by the family and about the types of existing families. There has also been some attention given to the competent child and parent. We have further defined the competences of school and teachers, for teachers are an important aspect of children’s education. We have also defined the cooperation between the school and parents. We have presented the teacher’s and educator’s role. A special attention was given to the competency of teachers and educators with the parents whose children come to school. In the empirical part we have shown the results of the research called An assessment of parents and teachers or educators in the 1st class of primary school on the competency for the parental role. We were interested in whether the higher educated parents assessed themselves as more competent for educating children than those with lower education; whether the employed parents assessed themselves as being more competent than unemployed parents; whether mothers feel that they are more competent for the parental role than fathers; whether the assessment would be bigger at the firstborn child than at the second born child and whether the assessments of educators and parents would be similar. We have used a survey questionnaire for the research. The information obtained with the questionnaire were processed with a SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) computer programme and provided in a table.
