Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi smo preučili posledice združevanja dveh podjetij, ki uporabljata različen tehnološki pristop za proizvodnjo pisemskih pošiljk. S podrobnim posnetkom stanja obeh podjetij pred združitvijo in po njej smo želeli najprej preučiti, na kakšen način lahko izboljšamo delovne procese. Predlagane izboljšave smo nato vpeljali v prakso in na koncu ugotavljali, ali je to izboljšalo produktivnost. Pridobili smo podatke z vseh delovnih nalogov v obeh podjetij v kritičnem mesecu pred združitvijo ter iskali vzroke za nedoseganje pogodbenih rokov in povečanje števila nadur. S pomočjo posnetka stanja v ARIS-u ter posnetka delovnih nalogov pred združitvijo podjetij smo poiskali ozka grla in jih poskušali odpraviti s prerazporeditvijo delovnih nalog in kombinacijo različnih tehnoloških pristopov. Na koncu smo pridobili podatke z vseh delovnih nalogov po združitvi podjetij in ugotavljali uspešnost izboljšave delovnih procesov glede na posnetek stanja pred združitvijo podjetij.

IMPROVEMENT OF WORKING PROCESSES AFTER THE MERGER OF COMPANIES
Abstract:
The graduation thesis examines the results of merger of two companies that use different technological approaches to letter mail production. A detailed snapshot of the situation at both companies before and after the merger allowed us to first identify the ways in which the work processes, or workflow, could be improved. The proposed improvements were then implemented. Finally, we evaluated the productivity to determine whether it had indeed been improved. Data was sourced from all work orders at both companies in the critical month before the merger as we sought to identify the causes for failure to observe the delivery deadlines and for increased amount of overtime. Based on the snapshot from the ARIS software and a snapshot of work orders before the merger, we identified the bottlenecks and sought to eliminate them by redistributing the work tasks and combining several technological approaches. Finally, data was obtained from all work orders after the merger and we evaluated the work processes, or workflow, for improvements relative to the snapshot from before the merger.
