Abstract:Namen diplomskega dela je bil določiti antioksidativno aktivnost ekstraktov rastlinskih materialov in njihovih mešanic.

Title:ANTIOXIDATIVE PROPERTIES OF EXTRACTS OF SOME PLANT MATERIALS
Abstract:The main purpose of thesis was to determine antioxidant activity from extracts of the plant materials, and their mixtures. To determine antioxidant activity we used the radical DPPH method. Resulting data were processed by the program Design-Expert 7.0 .The results show that among the various plant materials used (ginger, coriander, oregano, horsetail, rosemary) was the most active antioxidant rosemary at a temperature of 92 °C. Among the prepared extracts mixtures (ginger-horsetail, oregano-rosemary, ginger-horsetail, coriander-rosemary, coriander-rosemary-oregano and oregano-horsetail) the highest antioxidant response shows in oregano-horsetail extracted with water at a temperature of 80 °C, after a period of 24 hours.
Keywords:antioxidant activity, ginger, coriander, oregano, horsetail, rosemary
