Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo obravnavali opisovalni slogovni postopek, zanimala sta nas dva tipa opisovanja: statično opisovanje in dinamično opisovanje. Namen diplomskega dela je bil ugotoviti lastnosti in značilnosti obeh tipov opisovalnega slogovnega postopka, kar smo dosegli s pomočjo več kriterijev. Pri opredelitvi opisovalnega slogovnega postopka smo si pomagali s teoretičnimi dognanji sodobnih slovenskih in tujih jezikoslovcev, dognanja smo predstavili v teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela. V besedilih smo preučevali naslednje kriterije: sobesedilno spetost (kohezijo), zapovrstno nizanje besedilnih sestavin (enumerativnost), zamenljivost besedilnih sestavin (komutativnost), stilistiko besedila.

Title:DESCRIPTIVE WAY OF DEVELOPING A THEME
Abstract:In this thesis we have addressed descriptive style process and we are interested in two types of description: a static and a dynamic description. The purpose of the thesis was to determine the properties and characteristics of the two types of descriptive style of the case, which was achieved by using several criteria. At the defining descriptive style process we used the theoretical knowledge of modern Slovenian and foreign linguists, whose findings are presented in the theoretical part of the thesis. The analysis include five professional texts and one practical communicative text; the selected texts according to the style procedure are not schematic, they do not contain only static or a dynamic characterization, since these two ways of describing are ether intertwined or within one occur fragments of another. In addition, the texts represent a probe study, as a sample text for a comprehensive and in-depth research theme is too small, so a generalization, to comprehensively define it, could not be done. Communication is the exchange of messages and it comprises messaging and receiving texts, and the result of communication is a text that has to be meaningful, understandable and has a topic. This is defined as one or more phrases or thoughts, which have common sense. Developing the topic is to develop thoughts and long series of itemized components, resulting in the sequence of thematic components that build volume of the content of the wording and the same logical relationships in the dark. Depending on how a topic is developed, we distinguish five ways of verbalizing or stylistic procedures: intelligence, descriptive, narrative, explanatory and substantive, and with respect to that, informative, descriptive, narrative, explanatory and substantive texts. At describing or descriptive mode, the topic develops gradually by describing an object, person or phenomenon; it can be static or dynamic. In the case of the static description, delivering of thematic occurrence is dealt with, usually given the same level of the hierarchy, weather the characteristic of the dynamic description is processuality with the order, which cannot be changed. In the texts we studied the following criteria: an inter-textual tidiness (cohesion), consecutively stringing of text components (enumeration), an inter- changeability of textual elements (communicability), a stylistics of a text, while we were interested in a stylistic stigmatization or neutrality of vocabulary and objectivity or subjectivity of texts, and finally we tried to determine which parts of speech prevail in the static and the dynamic description, respectively. We were also interested in vocabulary that at the static describing acts statically, while at the dynamic describing it acts dynamically.
Keywords:text linguistics, communication, style procedures, the static describing, the dynamic describing, cohesion, text enumeration, communicability of text units, the stylistics of the text, static and dynamic vocabulary.
