Abstract:Že pred srednjim vekom so ljudje iskali načine, kako bi si pomagali v stiski, nesreči in bolezni.

Title:ESTABLISHMENT, DEVELOPMENT AND OPERATION OF PHARMACIES IN CELJE
Abstract:Even before the Middle Ages people had searched ways to help themselves in cases of distress, accidents or sickness. Development at the end of the Middle Age with the development of the medicine and pharmacies brought benefits to the landowners as lords with the control of the epidemics, frequent diseases and accidents that appeared between people. In 16th century after long begging of provincial status a request for the concession for the first pharmacy in Celje was in 1577 approved. Pharmacy Pri Orlu has gain competition with the new pharmacy Pri Mariji Pomagaj at 1638. Pharmacies were open, but had many difficulties in business, especially with inappropriate pharmacists, who did not work in coherence with norms and moral issues of medical workers. Between years 1756-1878 was the second pharmacy closed and Celje again had only one. The third pharmacy in Celje opened late in 1920. Pharmacies used to have private owners, pharmacists were payed by the land, later country. After The Second World War mayor organizational changes followed and the pharmacies were transformed into organized institutions that connected pharmacies and enabled better control over it. During first two centuries confusion and disobedience of the general rules in majority prevailed in pharmacies. More strict rules, that were considered and obeyed, implied Marija Terezija between 1770 and 1773. Nevertheless the changes in the pharmacies, patient’s wellbeing still stays in the first place. Considering many factors, e.g. pressures of the pharmaceutical industry that deletes the line between ethics and moral of medical workers, most of the pharmacists still have the sense for well-being of human.
