Abstract:V diplomski nalogi želimo podrobneje raziskati problematiko ponarejanja blagovnih znamk in narediti pregled spoznanj o temi ponarejanja ter ugotoviti razširjenost in druge značilnosti kupovanja ponaredkov.

Title:Counterfeited trade marks recognition
Abstract:In this thesis we want to further explore the issue of trademark counterfeiting, review the issue of counterfeiting and determine the prevalence and other characteristics of buying fakes. The purpose of the research was to explore the issue of counterfeiting of well-known brands, determine which brands are most often purchased in Slovenia, which age group is more inclined to buying fakes and what is the difference in buying counterfeits between men and women. We wanted to explore what are the motives that make people want to buy fakes and what are the criteria for identifying these counterfeits. The study included 100 participants, 68 of whom were women and 32 were men. Most of the participants have already purchased a counterfeit product and the most commonly purchased fake products were glasses and clothing. In researching why people decide to buy a counterfeit, we found that one of the main motives is mostly easier affordability. Counterfeits are most commonly purchased by women and the young, although research has shown small deviations between the sexes and between groups of individuals. We have found that counterfeiting is extremely well spread in Slovenia, and the main reason for purchasing counterfeits is still mostly affordability and accessibility to counterfeit products rather than to the originals.
