Abstract:Jezikovni kotički so pomembno jezikoslovno orodje, ki so uporabni kot praktični prikaz jezikoslovnih zadreg uporabnikov jezika.

Title:THE COMPARISON OF ONLINE LINGUISTIC FORUM »AL' PRAV SE PIŠE …?« AND RADIO SHOW »AL' PRAV SE REČE« BASED ON THE FREQUENCY OF QUESTIONS ON SPECIFIC GRAMMAR AREAS OF SLOVENIAN LANGUAGE
Abstract:Language corners present an important linguistic tool, useful as a practical display of linguistic confusions of language users. Within our diploma paper, in addition to the theoretical background, we have presented, compared and analysed the two of currently used linguistic corners, namely a linguistic consultancy website named »Al' prav se piše …?« and the radio programme named »Al' prav se reče«. The web forum as well as the radio programme encompass the same observation period, linguistic sections have been analysed in charts, while the most frequently discussed and the most interesting ones have been processed and analysed in detail. Considering both of the language corners, the areas of orthography and morphology have been pointed out most often; in addition to that, morphology and lexicology have been emphasized in the case of web forum, while phonetics and lexicology as well prevailed in the case of the radio programme. The results have been collected in graphs that present the frequency of individual linguistic phenomenon according to media as well as the reciprocal impact of one phenomenon on another, and provide a clear picture about how users come across similar ambiguities regardless of the source where they search for the answers on their questions – whether this is on the Internet or while listening to the radio programme.
