Poglobljen pristop v ma-krobiotiko in v trajnostno naravnano kmetijstvo lahko v Sloveniji ponuja celovit tržni potencial trajnostne-ga in zelenega turizma manjših samooskrbnih kmetij.

Title:The role of macrobiotics between producers and consumers of organic food
Abstract:The aim of this study is to discover the role of ecologically aware groups in relation to recommended life-styles. The goal of the research is to show the impact of lifestyle on nutritional principles of macrobiotics. Macrobiotics is a popular complementary approach promoting a nutrition pattern, a cultural movement, life activity, and sustainable and polyculture agriculture. A total of 104 respondents were included in the study. The respondents were divided into two different groups; organic producers and consumers of organic food from Styria. The results indicate that lifestyle has some effect on food selection as a result of dietary choices, eating habits, and the origin of food. The relationship between recommended food and lifestyle is confirmed by taking into account diet, physical activity and personal values. Macrobiotic and sustainable farming has the potential to promote Slovenian green tourism for small subsistence farms.
Keywords:macrobiotics, foodstuffs, polyculture
