V raziskavi smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo in kavzalno neeksperimentalno metodo in uporabili neslučajnostni vzorec iz konkretne populacije vzgojiteljic zaposlenih v treh javnih Celjskih vrtcih.

Title:Working with motorically gifted children in kindergarten
Abstract:The thesis titled “Working With Motorically Gifted Children” consists of theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part presents child motor development, motor characteristics of gifted children, work with such children, and additional sports activities aimed towards motorically gifted children. The empirical part presents the results which were obtained through surveys. The aim of the thesis was to determine whether teachers recognize the motorically gifted children and whether they are qualified to work with them. Research was conducted using the descriptive and causal non-experimental method, and non-probability sampling based on a specific population of preschool teachers in three public kindergartens in Celje. We found that teachers recognize motorically gifted child and that they find such work to be of great importance. At the same time, we found that preschool teachers do not have sufficient skills and training to work with motorically gifted children; literature on motorically gifted children is studied sporadically, and the opportunity for teachers to work or consult with PE teachers is not given.
