Abstract:V diplomskem delu v teoretičnem delu opredeljujemo področje plesne vzgoje. V praktičnem delu so predstavljeni načrt dejavnosti, priprave in evalvacije izvedenih dejavnosti.

Title:Activities from different areas of education as an encouragement for motor expression in children
Abstract:The theoretical part of this thesis deals with dance education, including the development, goals, principles, methods and types of dance education. Moreover, it discusses children's spontaneous expression through movement and focuses on the main tasks and roles of the teacher in this respect. The main idea of the thesis is to connect dance with other areas of education. The theoretical part concludes with an outline of all the goals and dance activities appropriate for children aged from 1 to 3 years in line with the kindergarten curriculum. As for the practical part, it presents the planning and evaluation of activities, which involved 14 children – 8 girls and 6 boys aged from 2 to 3 years and attending the Sapramiška unit of the Šentvid Kindergarten. The activities were carried out on a monthly basis with two weekly lessons in class. Each of them involved one of the seven areas of the curriculum which are connected to dance education. The goal was to determine how other areas of education affect the way children express themselves through movement. The findings suggest that effective encouragement from different areas inspires motivation and creativity in children and helps them express themselves with movement more easily.
Keywords:other areas of education, dance education, activities, areas of the kindergarten curriculum, spontaneous expression through movement.
