Title:Zadovoljstvo in motivacija zaposlenih po Herzbergovi teoriji motivacijskih dejavnikov v Cankarjevem domu

Abstract:Za uspešno organizacijo so potrebni motivirani zaposleni, pozitivna organizacijska kultura, nenehna vlaganja za izgradnjo tima in timskega dela ter zaupanje zaposlenih v vodstvo in upravljanje organizacije. Organizacija je bolj uspešna, če pozna svoje zaposlene, njihove prednosti in slabosti ter konstantno išče rešitve za poboljšanja v organizaciji, skupinskem zaupanju in motivu zadovoljstva s ciljem doseganja skupnega interesa. Dober partnerski odnos med zaposlenimi in vodstvom, motiviranost kadra ter tehnološka podpora in usposabljane so pogoji za doseganje ciljev organizacije. Tema magistrskega dela se nanaša na motivacijo in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih v kulturno-kongresnem javnem zavodu Cankarjev dom. Na podlagi Herzbergove dvofaktorske motivacijske teorije skušamo ugotoviti splošno stanje zadovoljstva in motiviranosti zaposlenih ter ali Herzbergova teorija v našem primeru drži. Poleg tega nas zanima, s katerimi dejavniki Herzbergove teorije so zaposleni najmanj zadovoljni. Na osnovi rezultatov nato podamo priporočilo za odpravo nezadovoljstva in izboljšanje stanja. V magistrskem delu na kratko predstavimo okolje, probleme, namene in cilje, povezane z motivacijo in zadovoljstvom zaposlenih v javnem zavodu Cankarjev dom. V teoretičnem delu na kratko predstavimo različne teorije motiviranja zaposlenih, zadovoljstvo zaposlenih na delovnem mestu in obravnavano okolje. V empiričnem delu na podlagi zastavljenih trditev o motivaciji in zadovoljstvu, hipotez ter anketne raziskave, izvedene v javnem zavodu Cankarjev dom, podamo ugotovitve in predloge za odpravo obravnavanih težav.

Title:Job satisfaction and motivation of employees at Cankarjev dom according to Herzberg’s dual-factor motivation theory
Abstract:A successful organization demands motivated employees, a positive organizational culture, constant investing into team construction and teamwork and employees’ trust into the leadership and management of the organization. The organization is more successful, if it possesses knowledge about its employees, their advantages and weaknesses and is constantly looking for solutions for improvement through the organization, team trust and satisfaction with the aim of achieving the joint interest. A good partnership between employees and the leadership, the motivation of the staff, the technological support and training are the conditions for achieving the goals of the organization. The topic of the master’s thesis is concerned with employee motivation and satisfaction in the culture-congress public institute Cankarjev dom. Based on Herzberg’s two-factor motivation theory, we try to identify the general state of employee satisfaction and motivation and if Herzberg’s theory holds water in our case. Besides, we want to identify those factors of Herzberg’s theory employees are the least satisfied with. Based on the results, we than provide suggestions for the elimination of dissatisfaction and improvement of the state. In the master’s thesis, we briefly present the environment, problems, purposes and goals, connected with employee motivation and satisfaction in the public institute Cankarjev dom. In the theoretical part, we briefly present different theories of employee motivation, employee satisfaction at the workplace and the discussed environment. In the empirical part, we provide the findings and suggestions about how to eliminate the discussed problems, based on the given arguments about motivation and satisfaction, hypotheses and the survey, carried out in the public institute Cankarjev dom.
