Študentke so vprašalnik izpolnjevale preko spleta. Zbrane podatke smo obdelali z računalniškim programom SPSS Statistic 21.0 v okolju Windows.

Title:Connections between the physical activity of students and the usage of applications for physical activity monitoring
Abstract:The aim of our research was to determine whether female students use applications for monitoring and promoting physical activity and to research the reasons and motives for using them. We wanted to examine which physical activities are most frequently used among them, how often they are active and to explore the relationship between physical activity of students and the use of applications for monitoring and promoting physical activity. The study involved 177 female students from all over Slovenia, aged between 19 and 29 years. We obtained data on students' activity and use of monitoring applications through a survey questionnaire. Students filled in an online questionnaire. The collected data was processed with the SPSS Statistic 21.0 software in Windows. The relationship between the students' physical activities and the use of physical activity monitoring applications was defined more precisely by the Hi-square test. The results of the research showed that the level of student physical activity is fairly high. Most of the active students are engaged in physical activity from elementary school on. They are active at least twice a week and more often they engage in individual activities. While being active, most of the surveyed participants do not use any applications for monitoring and promoting physical activity. As the most common cause of non-use of applications, they indicate that the device and the application itself are an obstacle to the movement. In the meantime, as the most common cause of application use, they state that the use of applications allows them to monitor several parameters which provide a safe, controlled and effective exercise that has a positive impact on health and overall fitness of the participants
