Abstract:Izhodišča, namen: Akutna psihoza je duševna motnja, pri kateri pacienti doživljajo blodnje in halucinacije.

Title:Integration of patients with acute psychosis in the environment
Abstract:Starting points, purpose: Acute psychosis is a mental disorder in which patients experience delusions and hallucinations. The disease affects both women and men, usually between ages of 20 and 30. Symptoms of the disease leave a person completely paralyzed, which affects all areas of human activity. The purpose of the diploma work is to present an acute psychosis and to determine how the patient experiences his illness. We are also interested in how the patient is involved in the social environment and what the role of the nurse is in this regard. Research methods: For the theoretical part of the diploma work we used the descriptive method of work and qualitative research. The data we needed to carry out the case study was obtained through a partially structured interview. We presented the results descriptively by time periods. Results: By analysing the obtained results and literature, we found that people do not recognize the symptoms of psychosis because they experience everything as a part of reality. People with acute psychosis are faced with everyday problems, because they are stigmatized and pushed to the edge of the social scale. Social inclusion of patients with psychosis is important for treatment. Discussion and conclusion: People with acute psychosis have a number of problems with their inclusion in the environment, they feel different, they often hide their illness, and therefore are socially isolated from the environment. In this regard, the role of a nurse is important in order to teach the patient about his illness.
