Abstract:	Na sodobnem trgu dela dobiva vse večji pomen dimenzija dela, ki je vezana na regulacijo čustev. Upravljanje s čustvi kot del delovnih zahtev se imenuje čustveno delo in predstavlja relativno novo področje raziskovanja na področju poučevanja. Čeprav se šole nekoliko razlikujejo od ostalih organizacij, se tudi od učiteljev pričakuje učinkovito upravljanje z lastnimi čustvi zavoljo doseganja organizacijskih in učnih ciljev. Šole se vse pogosteje nagibajo k oblikovanju pravil regulacije čustev, ki bi jih naj učitelji upoštevali v odnosu do učencev, njihovih staršev ter ostalih sodelavcev na šoli. Z namenom, da bi lahko podrobneje raziskovali področje čustvenega dela tudi v slovenskem okolju, smo v pričujoči magistrski nalogi prevedli in priredili Frankfurtsko lestvico čustvenega dela, ki za naše okolje predstavlja nov merski pripomoček. Raziskovalni vzorec je zajemal 595 učiteljev, zaposlenih na različnih osnovnih ter srednjih šolah po Sloveniji. Potrdili smo večdimenzionalnost konstrukta, pri čemer sta eksploratorna in konfirmatorna faktorska analiza pokazali, da najboljše prileganje podatkom kaže 8-faktorska rešitev. Lestvica je pokazala tudi ustrezno visoko mero zanesljivosti ter konstruktne veljavnosti. Omejitve in praktično vrednost raziskave ter predloge za nadaljnje raziskovanje smo obravnavali v diskusiji. Priredba novega merskega instrumenta za merjenje čustvenega dela predstavlja korak bližje k celostni analizi stanja na področju obremenjenosti učiteljev in kasneje tudi drugih poklicnih skupin.

Title:	The validation of Slovenian version of Frankfurter emotion work scales based on a sample of teachers
Abstract:	The aspect of emotion regulation in the workplace is gaining its importance in the modern employment market. Managing one's emotions as a part of job-related tasks is called emotional labour, and it introduces a relatively new area in the research of teaching. Even though schools are slightly different from typical emotion work associated organizations, teachers are also expected to effectively manage their emotions in order to reach organizational and educational goals. Schools often tend to set emotional behaviour rules, which teachers are expected to follow when working with students, parents, and colleagues in the workplace. The aim of this master’s thesis is to adapt and validate a new measure of emotion work that would allow us to study the area of emotion work in the workplace in Slovenian environment. For this purpose, we have translated and validated the Frankfurter Emotion Work Scales, which was applied to the sample of 595 primary and high school teachers, employed in different schools across Slovenia. We confirm the multidimensionality of the emotion work construct. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses show the 8-factor structure to be the best fit with the data. The scales also show adequately high rates of reliability and construct validity. Study limitations, practical implications, and suggestions for further research are discussed. The adaptation of a new measurement tool means a step closer to analysing and understanding teachers’ emotion work and with further research also other employee groups.
