Abstract:V okviru diplomske naloge smo v aplikaciji CŠOD Misija pripravili misijo v okolici šole, kjer smo raziskavo izvedli. Vsi dečki so po izvedeni aktivnosti pravilno določili smreko in bor, dve deklici pa sta ju zamenjali.

Title:Impact of use of the mission "Exploring tree leaves in the school surroundings" in the CSOE Mission app on the knowledge of the 1st grade elementary school pupils
Abstract:As part of the diploma thesis we prepared in the application CSOE Mission a mission in the school surroundings, where we conducted the research. We were interested in whether the use of the "Exploring tree leaves in the surroundings of the school" affects the knowledge of 1st grade pupils. In the theoretical part we presented the CSOE app and its operation. We described learning in nature with tablets and presented some current research. The tree species described in the theoretical part were observed by 15 pupils using tablets. Pupils performed a test before and after the activity. Our founding was that the use of the prepared mission had impact on the better knowledge of pupils. The greatest progress was observed in determining the maple, percentage of correct answers increased by 73.33%. All boys correctly identified the spruce and pine after the activity, two girls misplaced them. In determining deciduous trees, girls achieved better results, which we justified with greater interest in naming trees during the activity. The boys’ interest was more focused on the technical use of the application and collecting points. However, we cannot conclude if the knowledge is long-lasting, as we performed the test third day after the activity.
