Title:The impact of exercise on coordination development in children aged of three - four
Abstract:In the diploma work entitled The impact of exercise on coordination development in children aged three – four, we presented the theory of physical and sensory development, movement and its development in three-four-year-old children and its activation, motorical skills, coordination and coordination exercises and sports equipment that can be used in the development of coordination. In the empirical part, we presented the results of a six-month research. The non-random sample was from a specific population of children from a Ljubljana kindergarten, Viški gaj Kindergarten, Bonifacija unit. Our purpose was to determine whether the planned, professionally guided and regularly performed physical activity influences the development of coordination. The children were tested with eight motorical tests. We carried them out twice, the first testing took place in March and the second in September 2019. In the meantime, we planned and carried out professionally guided and regularly performed activities once a week, which contained the supposed elements for the development of coordination. Based on the obtained results, we determined with the help of the T-test for dependent samples that on the second test the children improved the results in average and thus understood that exercise influences and contributes to the development of coordination.
