Metode: Uporabljeni sta bili kvantitativna in kvalitativna metodologija raziskovanja. Analizirali smo 23 anketnih vprašalnikov študentov zdravstvenih ved, pridobljenih v okviru Evropske komisije s pomočjo t. i.

Title:Motives and Satisfaction of Health Sciences Students for Mobility in the Erasmus+ Programme
Abstract:Introduction: Erasmus+ is the European Union programme enables students the opportunity to study or practice abroad for a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 12 months at one level of study. The purpose of the thesis was to analyse the health sciences students’ mobility in the Erasmus+ programme in the 2014–2020 period and to define the factors that influence the decision for an exchange and overall satisfaction with mobility. Methods: Quantitative and qualitative research methodology were used. We analysed 23 questionnaires of health science students obtained within the European Commission’s EU Survey and Mobility Tool and conducted interviews with health sciences’ students (n = 6) who were abroad on mobility. Results: We learned that health sciences students are less likely to decide for an Erasmus+ exchanges abroad than students at other faculties. They are motivated for mobility by the location of the exchange, knowledge of the chosen country’s language, as well as the desire to travel and a comparison of home and host country systems. The results suggest that health sciences students prefer to choose a country for the Erasmus+ exchange whose language they are familiar with. The level of satisfaction of health sciences students with Erasmus+ mobility is more than 90%, they are enthusiastic about the whole experience and would surely repeat it. Discussion and conclusion: By analysing the motivational factors, we prepared guidelines for the health sciences’ Erasmus coordinator work. To increase the number of health science students’ mobility, we propose the international affairs office establishment at the faculty and constant monitoring of motivational factors and satisfaction in reports after individual mobility by the coordinator.
