Abstract:	V magistrskem delu smo preučili področje odnosov z javnostmi v nevladnih organizacijah na področju kulture v Mariboru in njihove glavne težave, s katerimi se soočajo. V prvem delu smo spoznali teoretska ozadja s področja odnosov z javnostmi ter nevladnih organizacij, v raziskovalnem delu pa smo naredili poglobljene intervjuje s predstavniki izbranih nevladnih organizacij ter spoznali glavne težave. Izsledki in zaključki, ki smo jih pridobili po opravljenih intervjujih, so bili osnova za pripravo modela, ki bi lahko pomagal predvsem tistim nevladnim organizacijam, ki nimajo specifičnega oddelka za odnose z javnostmi ali vsaj zaposlenega na področju odnosov z javnostmi pri uspešnejšem doseganju javnosti.

Title:	Public relations in non-governmental organizations: preparation of a model to help nongovernmental culture organizations for more effectively work in the field of public relations
Abstract:	In the master's thesis, we examined the field of public relations in non-governmental organizations in the field of culture in Maribor and their main problems, related to public relations. In the first part, we learned about the theoretical background in the field of public relations and non-governmental organizations. Second part of our master's thesi is the research work, where we conducted in-depth interviews with representatives of selected non-governmental organizations and learned about their main problems. The results and conclusions we obtained after the interviews, were the basis for the preparation of a model that could help, especially those non-governmental organizations that do not have a department or employee in the field of public relations, to reach public more successfully.
