Abstract:Diplomsko delo predstavlja preizkus, v katerem je dokazan vpliv športne masaže na izboljšano gibljivost zadnjih stegenskih mišic ob treningu hipertrofije spodnjih okončin. V začetku so predstavljene motorične sposobnosti, anatomija človeka, pomen hipertrofije in pojem masaže.

Title:THE IMPACT OF SPORTS MASSAGE ON IMPROVED MOBILITY OF THE BACK THIGH MUSCLES DURING TRAINING OF LOWER EXTREMITY HYPERTROPHY IN FITNESS CENTRE
Abstract:This thesis presents an experiment, demonstrating the effect of sports massage on improved mobility of the hamstrings during lower limb hypertrophy training. The motor skills, human anatomy, the meaning of hypertrophy, and the concept of massage are introduced in the beginning. These were our starting points, as the proof of the test required a holistic view of people and their functioning. We started from the hypotheses that sports massage helps to improve muscle elasticity, improve general well-being, reduce stress levels, that women tend to have better hip mobility than men, and that hypertrophy increases muscle tone but still leaves the muscle elastic enough to be painless and provides a feeling of lightness. The purpose of massage is to speed up recovery and regeneration, as well as to prevent injuries. The aim of this thesis is to prove, through measurements and analysis of the results, that massage helps to improve mobility and, from a psychological point of view, the importance and effectiveness of the massage. The four-week trial involved 10 participants from the field of recreational fitness, only half of whom received massage once a week. During the experiment, the subjects performed prescribed hypertrophy training to facilitate analysis and comparison of results. After the experiment, three mobility measurements and a survey were carried out, which confirmed the above hypotheses.
