Abstract:V magistrskem delu smo pripravili 35-urni obšolski program plezanja na zavarovanih plezališčih.

Title:Preparation of extra-curricular programme on via ferratas (protected climbing rutes) in nature for students from 4th to 6th grade.
Abstract:This Master's thesis encompasses a 35-hour extra-curricular programme for climbing on via ferrate. The thesis is based on the comparison of various sources, as well as their analysis. This programme enables us to represent the benefits of climbing and its impact on the holistic development of children. This work also introduces opportunities for implementation of climbing on via ferrate as an extra-curricular activity. Moreover, this thesis includes a syllabus as a source for teaching and implementing climbing into schools regardless of their location and equipment with possibilities for differentiation of didactic accessories and climbing equipment. 2. VIO students have specific developmental traits and can thus readily enter learning processes and other forms of movement in nature, not only hiking and mountaineering. In the theoretical part of this work we present the benefits of climbing in nature for the holistic development of children. Theoretical part of the thesis contains also an overview of hiking and climbing on via ferrate and the safety concerns related to it. This overview is readily available for teachers to independently and safely implement climbing on via ferrate as an extra-curricular activity. This programme enables safe climbing on via ferrate regardless of limitations in our school environment. There are numerous positive outcomes from climbing on via ferrate in nature, thus it is crucial to overcome any obstacles and enable children to spend time in nature in an alternative and healthy manner.
