Abstract:Pričakovano vrednost lahko dojamemo vrednost dane naložbe v nekem prihodnjem trenutku. Dan danes mnogo ljudi postopoma prevzema trajnosten življenjski slog. Naša raziskava bo v pomoč nadaljnjim študijam o trajnosti in ozaveščenosti odjemalcev.

Title:Comparison between the expected value of fashion products with and without an eco label
Abstract:Expected value can be understood as the value of a given investment at some future point in time. Today, many people are adopting a sustainable lifestyle. At the same time, the fashion industry is considered one of the biggest polluters in the world. Fort this reason, we decided to research the expected value of consumers towards different types of fashion products. Our master’s thesis consists of two parts, the theoretical part and our research part. The first chapter is the introduction. The theoretical part begins with the second chapter, in which we analyze and break down the concept of expected value in more detail. The third chapter is dedicated to the presentation of environmental issues, while in the fourth chapter we will focus on the ecological awareness of consumers. The beginning of the research part represents an introduction to our quantitative research which begins with the fifth chapter. We created a questionnaire in which we surveyed consumers of different age groups. All together we have collected 131 correctly answered surveys. In this chapter we also presented the results of our research as well as tested our hypotheses. To analyze our data we used SPSS. In our research, we confirmed all of the proposed hypotheses, with the exception of one which was rejected. Our research will help further studies on sustainability and consumer awareness.
