Abstract:Skupnostna psihiatrična obravnava (SPO) nudi oskrbo pacientov s hudimi duševnimi motnjami v skupnosti na njihovem domu. Shizofrenija pomembno vpliva na funkcioniranje in kakovost življenja pacientov. Sintezo pridobljenih podatkov smo naredili s pomočjo tematske analize podatkov.

Title:Community psychiatric treatment of patients with schizophrenia
Abstract:Community psychiatric treatment (CPT) provides care for patients with severe mental disorders in the community, in their own homes. Schizophrenia significantly affects the functioning and quality of life of patients. Psychiatric treatment in the community is essential in the integration of patients with schizophrenia into the family and society. The purpose of the master's thesis is to investigate and present the importance of CPT in patients with schizophrenia. In the final part, we used a systematic review based on review, analysis and synthesis of scientific literature. When conducting the systematic review, we followed the PRISMA guidelines and evaluated the articles using the Joanna Briggs Institute's evaluation tool. We synthesized the obtained data with the help of thematic data analysis. We identified 524 hits, and 10 articles were included in the final analysis. Based on the thematic analysis, we identified 4 secondary themes: (1) Positive effects of CPT on patients with schizophrenia; (2) Approach to the patient with schizophrenia; (3) National mental health policy; (4) Operation of CPT. From the analysis of the included articles, we can conclude that treatment in the community has advantages for patients with schizophrenia, as it helps the patient develop the skills and abilities to live as independently as possible in the community. SPO contributes to a better quality of life and greater patient satisfaction. Monitoring of patients with schizophrenia in the community improves the level of compliance with medication and affects the improvement of the patient's clinical symptoms, thereby reducing hospitalizations.
