Abstract:Pri diplomskem delu z naslovom Učinek vaje prostorskih pojmov in barv na jezikovni razvoj otrok v kombiniranem oddelku smo ugotavljali rabo in razumevanje prostorskih pojmov in poznavanje barv. V empiričnem delu so prikazani in interpretirani podatki začetnega in končnega preverjanja.

Title:The effect of practicing spatial concepts and colors on the language development of children in the combined department
Abstract:In the diploma work entitled The Effect of Practicing Spatial Concepts and Colors on the Language Development of Children in the Combined Department, we determined the use and understanding of spatial concepts and knowledge of colors. In the theoretical part, we focused on speech development, storytelling, factors that influence speech development, and the development of spatial concepts and colors. The empirical part shows and interprets the data of the initial and final test. Children from the combined department that took part were between two and four years old. Through tests or research, we wanted to find out how well children understand and use spatial concepts, how age affects knowledge of spatial concepts and colors, what their knowledge of colors is like, and what progress children make between the first and second test. The two tests were carried out over a span of four months. We carried out both tests in the same way; all children had the same conditions, because this is the only way we obtained authentic results. Obtained results, which were obtained from children aged two to four, showed progress between the initial and final examination in terms of the use and understanding of spatial concepts and knowledge of colors. We have found that some children made more progress, while others made less progress.
