Abstract:V naši diplomski nalogi raziskujemo primerjavo zavzetosti pri delu med študenti, zaposlenimi, samostojnimi podjetniki in managementom.

Title:Comparing the work engagement of students, employees, sole traders and management
Abstract:In our thesis, we investigate the comparison of work engagement among students, employees, self-employed entrepreneurs and management. In the first part of the article, the factors that affect engagement at work are presented, whether there are differences in engagement at work depending on whether someone is a student, an employee, an independent entrepreneur or a manager. In the following, the interaction between the main definitions is presented: engagement, factors influencing engagement, the Gallup questionnaire, the UWES scale, and the explained definitions of students, employees, sole proprietors and management. The empirical part presents the analysis of an anonymous survey that was conducted among randomly selected people. We created it on the 1ka website and found out by publishing it on our Instagram profile and then quantitatively analyzing it. The results showed that the most committed to work are managers, then independent entrepreneurs, followed by employees and students. Their different commitment comes about because of different causes that affect them. We will present these in more detail in our empirical work.
Keywords:Engagement, engagement factors, engagement measurement, UWES, types of employment.
